If you’re in Rehovot and you’ve been to the munitions factory and the Weitzmann Institute, I recommend you visit this new museum. It’s beautiful and well laid out. The staff are very helpful and willing to answer questions (concerning the museum!)
Description:
The Yemenite Heritage Center and Jewish communities of Israel, includes permanent exhibitions and unique activities for the promotion and preservation of the heritage of Yemenite Jewry through rare, authentic and unique collections and exhibits. The Center will serve as a home for all Jewish communities, through temporary exhibitions, seminars, workshops, performances and more.
The Heritage Center has a state-of-the-art design with an emphasis on authentic and unique elements. The Center places great emphasis on the accessibility of the place to those with special needs.
