Review

March 2016:

We were fortunate to go to one of Gili’s soap workshops and we had the best time! I brought girls and boys ages 4,6,8,10,12 and everyone had fun.

The workshop is located very close to Raanana and runs from the basement of a community building. The entrance for Gili’s workshop is in the car park, on the left side by the disabled parking where there is a ramp to her entrance. Plenty of free parking available. You will know you are in the right place when you start to smell the soap!

First Gili explained about the soap making process and her switch of direction from being a chemist, to working with only natural ingredients. She showed us how soap is made (which adults are able to do in an adult workshop) and showed us some of her incredible soaps . Her soap display is so good you want to eat it…everything looks and smells so amazing!

Then we chose our own mold and colours and each of us made our own soaps. We made lego, a popsicle, a couple of monster soaps, a shell and crayons – all out of soap and they all came out so well!!

I highly recommend this workshop. I think it is value for money – we were there over two hours and each made 2 large natural soaps which would cost at least as much as we paid for the workshop. On top of that, it was a great group activity – creative and interesting. Gili was super patient and her enthusiasm for what she does really shone through!

Please note, workshops vary – call Gili to arrange. She also does parties, team events and can also do workshops in lip balms and fragrances.
