Description:
The Timna Valley is located in southern Israel in the southwestern Arava desert, approximately 30 kilometres north of Eilat. The area is rich in copper ore and has been mined since the 5th millennium BCE.
Timna has special activities on for the summer and has extended opening hours into the cooler evening this time of year.
There are lots of nice trails, places where you can bike, do jeep rides and more as well as nighttime activities.
