Nitzanim Sand Dunes- We had a great time there today. Was a bit concerned when I saw there was so little info about the place in this group. There are a few options of trails through the sand dunes. We opted for a circular route which took about 2 hours. Wear sandals as you’re trudging through sand ( we actually hiked barefoot most of the time). Kids ages 8.5, 12 & 14 had a great time trying to identity wildlife prints in the sand and rolling down the dunes. The parking area has picnic tables. Best part- it was totally empty! Directions: south on 4 and right at צומת ניצנים- then follow signs to Eucalyptus campgrounds/ Sand dunes.
