We go there every Aug. camping for 2 nights/3 full days (for past 3 years) & have always only had the best of experiences. It’s like a hidden gem in Israel for all ages. It’s never been super crowded when we have gone – midweek Aug. I would imagine if very crowded would be less enjoyable. Outdoor camp grounds are the cleanest in Israel I’ve ever seen. Every 15 min a cart comes around emptying trash bins. 🙂

Camping alongside natural pools in Beit Shean.
You can bring a tent or stay in their air conditioned yurts. The yurt area is slightly apart from the rest of the park and have their own facilities, and also comes with mattresses and a fridge. You need to book a yurt.
There is a small shop and a supermarket not too far away. There are picnic tables and you can rent a fridge.
