Dead Sea

“Just got back from a stunning weekend at the dead sea. We took the kids (9,7 and 3) and stayed at the Fattal Leonardo Privilege. It’s an all-included hotel so you get 3 humungous meals as well as coffee/cake/waffles at 4pm and endless ice-cream, slush and drinks at the pool at no additional cost throughout the day. There is lots of entertainment for kids during the day and a musical show early evening. They even baked Challot and chocolate balls on Friday too which was very cute.

It’s a 2 min walk to the beach but there is a shuttle right from the hotel entrance to the beach every 20 mins there and back and a lifeguard on the beach too. Rooms are nice, clean and simple. Equipped with TV, fridge and basic coffee/tea etc. Food=outstanding.Staff and child friendliness= amazing.

Pool area truly magnificent. There is a huge adult pool and 2 small kiddies pools. One for kids who can swim its knee-deep and another for babies/little toddlers. There is a shop in the hotel which sells all dead-sea products, toiletries and beach/pool stuff as well as snacks too just in case the insane amount of food during mealtime isn’t enough.

Every meal is a massive buffet. There is a special section just for kiddies with hotdogs, schnitzels, hot chips, corn cobs and veggies.

Highly recommended weekend break.

There is nothing so magical as floating on the dead sea, surrounded by red mountains at sunset and such exquisite natural beauty. For moms and dads, the hotel has a nice spa including small gym, wet and dry sauna, salt-pool and a variety of spa treatments.”
