The ones at the gas stations are what I usually call “photo op” camel rides – it’s about a 5 minute walk around the Almog junction gas station, etc.
Description:
You can fill your car up with petrol and then have a ride on the camels at Almog junction.
Other suggestions for this mini experience are the Qumran Car Park (usually there) and apparently “Sushi” the camel 🐪 at the Sea Level sign is a well treated and gentle camel you can have a quick ride on.
