The Flyover - Yom Haatzmaut 73!

We are excited that the traditional, Israeli Air Force Fly-By on Yom Haatzmaut will be back once more this year with a special salute to "Israeli Brotherhood" in Israel’s skies. The list below is from the IAF website – CLICK HERE for the article in Hebrew.


This year, the planes will pass over more cities than in the past, from Kiryat Shmone to Eilat, in order to salute all Israeli citizens. The flights will take place between 10:30-13:00 and will pass over dozens of cities and major points in the country. There will also be a salute flight over the President’s House at 8:45 am.


The planes will include "Mighty" (F-35I), "Falcon" (F-15), "Storm" (F-16I), "Lightning" (F-16) and "Lavi" (M346I) fighter jets. , Owl Assault Helicopters (Black Hawk), Yasur (CH-53) and Bat (Panther) and Ram (Baunig 707), Scouting (Beachcraft King) Transport Aircraft Air B-200), "Nachshon" (Gulfstream G-500), "Samson" (Super Hercules C-130J) and "Rhino" (Hercules C-130HI).


The aircrafts will pass over IAF bases and over 40 cities and towns, from Kiryat Shmona to Eilat

The aerobatic team of the Air Force will perform aerial performances with the "Lark" (T-6 Texan 2) aircraft between the hours of 08: 45-15: 00 over the following cities:


• Tiberias

• Nahariya

• Acre

• Haifa

• Tel Aviv (beach)

• Ashdod (beach)

• Ashkelon (beach)

• Jerusalem (Gan Sacher, Independence Garden)

• Beer Sheva
