Reports in the Wall Street Journal claim that 7 countries who have all managed to control the virus within their own countries will join together to help build back each other’s economies – both in business and tourism.
The Times of Israel writes that “the initiative was proposed by Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz (during the meeting they held on April 24th ) and would provide a way for the countries, many of which are heavily dependent on tourism, to begin opening borders without the fear of letting in virus carriers.”
The seven countries involved are: Australia, Austria, Israel, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Greece and New Zealand.
