Entertainment

Davidman's Pesach is the only full English speaking program at the Dead Sea, and takes place at the 5-star Crowne Plaza Hotel and Spa, situated on the beach itself! They focus on high quality and excellent customer service with personal attention to details. The Davidman family has been running Pesach programs for many years and you get the benefit of the decades of this experience.

The program caters to a modern-Orthodox crowd, led by Rabbi Dr. Aharon Adler, Community Rabbi of Ohel Nechama, in Jerusalem. They will be joined by the energetic educators Rabbi Josh and Margot Botwinick, the 'Mizrachi and Orthodox Union's Jewish Learning Initiative on Campus' directors at the IDC in Herzliya.

The program offers activities for all ages from early morning until late at night!

In addition to the entertainment staff of the hotel, there will be 3 additional counselors for the Kids Club so that the kids have what to do all day long, from arts and crafts to sports, games and movies.

In addition to the shiurim given by Rabbi Adler, Rabbi Josh, and Margot, there will be lectures on a wide variety of topics from personal health care (it is the Dead Sea!) to mysticism. This year several authors will present their new books and hold a "Meet the Author" event as well.

The Food

Everyone asks about the food! It is what you would expect from a 5-star hotel and more. The hotel is kitniyot-free, and the chefs love the challenge of providing amazing and delicious menus, not to mention the daily Sweet Hour - which is much more than sweets. In years past it has featured waffles, a pasta bar, crepes and more (and yes, all Mehadrin Kosher for Passover!)

Cancellation Policy

The other crucial question at the moment.

Cancellation policy: all money paid is refundable except for a small registration fee (125nis per room per night).

Price

Would love to tell you outright, but it really depends on many factors such as Israeli/tourist, chag and shabbat vs hol hamoed, which floor, with a balcony or not, kids and their ages, total number of rooms needed, executive or business lounge, suites, etc. So just contact Lenny Davidman for a quote.
