Beit Hamikdash Baking Adventure

Are you on the search for a truly unique experience? Unique to Israel, and unique to the world? Then be sure to book a workshop at Saidel Jewish Baking Center this SUMMER (or anytime!).

After thorough research and study, Les Saidel, baker extraordinaire, has perfected baking the breads from the Beit Hamikdash (Temple) times.

Now you have the chance to bake them yourselves, together with the history and sources that you may have learnt but never been able to actually envisage, touch & even taste for yourselves!

Hands-on fun and learning for ages 6-120.

All you need to do is WhatsApp/call to arrange your workshop:

http://Wa.me/972507202521 or +972507202521. BOOK EARLY SO YOU DON'T MISS OUT!

See below for just a sample of the feedback from people in our Facebook Group who have already been to this workshop!

Esther Elterman My family and I went to Saidel's Artisan Bakery in Karnei Shomron this week. Eliezer (Les) Saidel explained the types of breads and their purpose in the Beit Hamikdash. We made each type of bread and got to eat them or take them home after the workshop. It was informative and a lot.of fun.

Recommendation for Les Saidel's amazing Breads of the Beit HaMikdash workshop. We (me, DH, kids 22, 12 and 10) all really enjoyed not only the hands on baking experience but also the clear explanations that brought history and Torah to life. Perfect for the three weeks/ nine days or at any other time. A truly "only in Israel" experience. Don't take kids who are too small to understand the explanation. (I would say Gan Chova/Kitta Aleph kids and up are perfect.) Great for teens, adults, couples. And we had enough yummy breads for a picnic today!!

If you are looking for a great activity for the whole family, I highly recommend Saidel Bakery's "Lechem Hapanim and other breads of the Beit HaMikdash", hands-on workshop in Ganei Shomron. The workshop lasted about 3.5 hours, in which we saw impressive and informative slideshows, made 5 different types of bread that were made in the times of the Beit Hamikdash and dressed up like Kohanim and entered a replica of the Mishkan. We each went home with a big bag of bread. Les Saidel is very knowledgeable (expert on the topic) and was a great presenter. All of our kids enjoyed and thanked us for taking them.

We enjoyed this trip immensely!

A great experience -- I watched Les do a workshop for a room full of captivated little boys who loved every second of the experience even as they learned a ton. Awesome!
