Just back from a great morning at the Automotor show. We arrived early but by 12 when we left the place was buzzing with lots of visitors.
Park near the Exhibition Grounds (very expensive if you park inside) and you can purchase tickets at the entrances – One at Beitan 2, and at Beitan 10. Follow the exhibition round and you will see some truly stunning cards, from Range Rovers, Feraris, to Aston Martins (as in the one featured in the recent James Bond movie, Spectre) and of course the exhibition’s most expensive car – the Bugatti!

There is an exhibition of two-wheeler vehicles with some incredible motor bikes, an army vehicle and gadget exhibit – with soldiers happily explaining the uses of the equipment on show, as well as aiding in trying out gadgets such as the night vision binoculars and heat-sensor goggles. There are also two incredible, huge tanks outside as well.

There are also a few hands on areas- have a go on the XBox driving games and I actually did succumb to the salesmen of the VR3DCard and got a cool gadget to add on to my smartphone to enable 3D games (which can be downloaded free).

An exciting new venture is also displayed here – the V&V Caravans. These are stunning caravans which provide a new, and more affordable way to travel the country in style. The largest can fit 6 people and they are all fully equipped with kitchens, fridges, freezer, storage space, toilet and shower. Such innovative use of space and to a high spec. They will son be available for staying at certain areas or you can rent them and drive them to your choice of locations around the country.
In addition, outside there a regular performances -watch how the fast cars manouevre on the tracks as well as some extreme motor cycle stunts. You can also play on a Scalextric, see and buy some great remote control cars, a drone, as well as lots of car gadgets around the exhibit.

You are allowed to bring in your own food. There are plenty of food stalls which display a sign that says that all products are kosher for Pesach although there is no official teudah because they open on Shabbat.
Overall, if your children like motor cars and vehicles (and if you do!) then I think this is a great day out – we spent over two hours there and could have spent much longer if we had gone back to revisit parts of the exhibit. There was a lovely vibe and there was plenty to see.
